Before submitting a manuscript, in addition to polishing the language, it is important to check the repetition rate of the article. Most SCI journals require a repetition rate of less than 20%, and a single repetition rate of less than 5%. Exceeding this threshold will prevent entry of the article into the external review process and may even lead to direct rejection of the manuscript.
